CREW NATHAN MATSUDA DIRECTOR Nathan Matsuda has written and directed a number of short films and music videos as well as held many key positions for various other projects. Nathan's key roles include writer/director of Dead Silence (2005), the first Northwestern University Mini Grant to shoot on 16mm film; and writer/director of French Horn Rebellion's Showdown (2007), the annual Niteskool music video and the largest production at Northwestern University. In addition to his directing projects, Nathan has worked as the Visual Effects Supervisor for a number of student films. In 2006, Nathan was selected for a highly competitive internship program at Pixar Animation Studios where he worked as an Effects Technical Director on Wall-E, the newest feature from writer/director Andrew Stanton (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo). MALCOLM GRAY PRODUCER Malcolm Gray is a producer whose short films have screened at festivals throughout the United States and internationally. In 2006, Malcolm produced the short films Anonymous, a World War II drama that won Best Film at the 2006 Gen Art IGNITE! Chicago Festival; and Cello Lessons, a bittersweet coming-of-age story about a young musician, which was the first Northwestern undergraduate project to shoot on 35mm film. Both Anonymous and Cello Lessons were selected to screen as part of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. In addition to his short film experience, Malcolm has worked in the professional film industry as a location scout, an assistant producer on an independent feature, and in development for Lionsgate Films and the independent production company This Is That (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, 21 Grams). JON GREENBERG PRODUCER Jon Greenberg began his film career in 2004 when he interned in the development and production departments for BenderSpink Management & Production. He has since gone on to work in production for both Columbia Pictures and "Total Request Live" at the MTV Network, and in development at Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment. In 2006, Jon was appointed as president of production for Studio 22, Northwestern University's student-run production company. Jon began producing short films in the spring of 2006 when he was the associate producer for The Detention Teacher, a film that went on to win an Emmy for Best Comedy at the ATAS College Television Awards. He has since taken part in producing six films over the last two years. Most recently, Jon produced Cutter, an action thriller completed in the spring of 2007. BROCK WILBUR WRITER/PRODUCER As an undergraduate of Northwestern University Brock Wilbur was very active in undergraduate film production as well as industry work in Los Angeles. In Chicago, he has provided sound design or soundtrack scoring for over twenty short films, including the Niteskool music video Cast Shadows In Technicolor (2006), which he starred in and composed/performed the music. Additionally, Brock has appeared as an actor in more than a dozen other short films and done a fair share of writing, casting, and editing. After graduating from Northwestern in 2007, Brock worked for The Syndicate (The Matador, South Park), where he produced a feature-length film while also working in client management and script development. He now lives full-time in Los Angeles, where he works in music supervision for television and as an A&R scout for a record label.
